Parents as Partners: 13 Reasons Why

"I have had a handful of folks here ask me about the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why. It is obviously not our role to police what people do and don't watch, that said from a suicide prevention standpoint there are some pretty concerning elements in the show." Said Kim Myers, MSW Suicide Prevention Coordinator.

The Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health has provided talking points that parents/caregivers/other supportive people can use in talking with kids about the content. Please feel free to share and encourage people who have or know kids who are watching this to have a discussion about it.
