Norovirus - signs and symptoms
Dear Parents or Guardians,
Recently, in the news, there have been reports of norovirus outbreaks in our state. As of right now, there have been no confirmed cases of norovirus in any school in Tooele County School District. We have been in direct contact with the Tooele County Health Department to confirm this information. However, Tooele County Health Department has had one reported case, but no confirmed cases. Due to the contagious nature of the norovirus, we are taking extra sanitary steps in all of our facilities and buses to help prevent the virus from spreading. If your child has any of the symptoms we ask that you don’t send him/her to school until 72 hours after vomiting and diarrhea have ended. (Click on the title for more information about the norovirus)
